Though the Theodore Payne Foundation is actually located in Sun Valley, it is a must visit for any flower lover in the Los Angeles area. The Foundation offers beautiful flower grounds to visit, and visitors are welcome to bring food to have picnics in the area.

Seeds are available for purchase from the Theodore Payne Foundation website, and there are also many different classes and other opportunities for both children and adults to learn more about native area plants, such as school field trips. Internships are available for people who might be interested as well. The nursery is open Tuesday through Saturday.
